Samantha Ruth Prabhu's song 'Oo Anthava' from 'Pushpa: The Rise' became a huge hit and the actress got a lot of love from the audience. Now, during a recent conversation at the India Today Conclave 2024, while describing the experience of shooting for a song, Samantha shared how she was shaking during the first shot.
Elaborating on how she took the decision to do "Oo Antava" and play Raji in 'The Family Man', the actress mentioned that she likes to take her own decisions without outside influences. Samantha shared that she decided to do a dance number like 'Oo Anthawa' because she wanted to explore a new style of performance despite initially feeling uncomfortable and insecure about her sexuality.
She said, “I've always operated on 'I'm not good enough, I don't feel pretty, I don't look like other girls.' So it was a big challenge for me. It was actually the first shot of "Oo Antawa"... I was shaking with fear as sexy is not my thing. It's not my thing. But how I've grown as an actor and as a person is that I've always made sure that I put myself in the most uncomfortable, unforgiving, very difficult situations.
